We were heading across Michigan's upper peninsula and needed to make a lunch stop. That's how we ended up at Lac Vieux Desert. It was a Wednesday and the large restaurant was quite empty when we got there at 11:15. The waitress was pleasant and our food came out quickly. The fish fry my husband ordered was way more than he could eat. I enjoyed 13 reviews of Lac Vieux Desert Resort & Casino "Stayed here for a snowmobiling trip in the U.P. as did 95% of the other people who stayed here. The hotel itself is fine, it was clean and basic and pretty well located for snowmobiling purposes. The staff for the hotel were very friendly and all in all I'd give the hotel 3.5 stars.
